Aqua has been making shelters for decades and one thing has been common for all this time.
The best of quality. I spent a few nights recently under the Heritage brolly. With the old school brolly mechanism given a new-age tweak with the inclusion of the superb Aquatexx material, the shelter is rock solid when set up. There is plenty of room for a standard bedchair, with room at the back for any bags that I carry. In addition, there are options for turning the brolly into a full system. There are two frontage options; a full-size mozzie-mesh front or an Aquatexx infill panel for when the weather takes a turn for the worse. Both simply Velcro fasten in. Each panel comes in its own storage bag and additional pegs that fit easily into the top of my rucksack should I need them. Both increase the useable footprint of the shelter. Pack down is easy too with the quick-release storm poles that disconnect with the turn of a screw, allowing me to pack down and get on the move quickly. I am always conscious of weight in my fishing and the Heritage brolly system is as light as they come but doesn’t sacrifice on durability. I am very impressed.
