I think that these are the sharpest commercially available carp hooks on the market.

I had expected the uncoated, ultra-sharp points to be easily damaged, but they last far longer than I’d imagined and will withstand multiple captures. Even when they dull slightly, the points are still plenty sharp enough to continue fishing with. The coloured PTFE coating is a nice touch and while I don’t think matching the colour of your hook to the bottom makes a difference, it does ensure that they have a dull finish – it looks good too, especially on the bigger hooks. Okay, 50 pence per hook is a bit pricey, but if there’s one area of tackle to spend a little more on, besides bait, this is it.
