One of angling’s best known and respected carp anglers NIGEL SHARP is joining the Wychwood team with immediate effect.

Having caught most of the country’s A-team of big fish including: The Royal Forty, Heather, Bazil, Shoulders and, of course, the much acclaimed Burghfield Common to name but a few, Nigel is undoubtedly one of the most consistent big-fish anglers in the UK and we are very proud to have him on board Team Wychwood.

Marketing Manager John Taylor commented: “Obviously we are absolutely delighted to have acquired Nigel as part of our growing team. Being able to attract people of Nigel’s stature in the sport speaks volumes about how the Wychwood name is developing in stature. Everyone here is really looking forward to working alongside him on product development, brand awareness and other projects.

“This is really exciting news and comes at a time when the company is celebrating its 25th anniversary of producing original, innovative and quality carp fishing tackle.”

When asked why he had chosen to become part of the Wychwood Team, Nigel had this to say: “The reason I’ve chosen to join Team Wychwood is because not only are they a well-established carp tackle brand they also have big plans for the future, and I have been convinced of this. Many of these plans mean that we will work closely together on several projects, which is something I have always wanted to do – it’s great to get this opportunity. I believe that it’s high time that my 30-plus years as an active carp angler, with a head full of ideas is put to use in developing and promoting tackle to help other anglers enjoy our sport as much as I have over the years. “

Nigel’s first appearance as part of Wychwood will be at The Big One Show in Farnborough this weekend, February 22nd and 23rd.
