Nash angler bags target fish at over 52lb.

Nash-backed big carp ace Jerry Hammond has landed Norfolk’s biggest carp at a weight of 52lb 4oz from Lenwade Charity Lakes in the Wensum Valley.

Fishing the complex’s 5.7acre main lake, the high-profile angler had put plenty of hours in to catch his target fish, the venue’s famous ‘Baby Face’ before the fish finally slipped up yesterday (June 25) to a new NashBait bait Jerry was testing.

The weight equals the specimen’s biggest recorded capture when it came out last year to the rod of Stuart Taylor from Ely.

Jerry beat his fish using a custom-built Nash NRXD rod.
